Investment have a physical location outside of
Jamaica? No
Is there any
insurance on day trading accounts? No.
What
market does Alliance Investment trade? JSE, NYSE, AMEX and Nasdaq stocks.
We do not offer Option, Futures, Web and
e-mini’s trading in our day trading accounts.
What is the minimum account size for margin?
$2,000
Is there margin interest
charged and how much? There is NO margin
interest charged intraday. However on overnight
position in excess of 2-1 margin, there is 10%
annual charge. Equivalent to .00028% daily on the
margin positions held each day.
What does it mean by not targeted or intended
for US or Canadian citizen? It means that we do
not solicit anyone that has US and Canadian
residency.
Does Alliance Investment
report Tax earnings on your investment accounts? It
is your obligation and responsibility to comply
with the laws of the country of your residence
with respect to tax liability.
What is the cost or the
commission on a trade? We have 2 plan
structures. Plan A is based on per trade basis.
It is $12.95 + ECN with share limit to 20,000
per trade. Plan B is based on a per shares
basis. It is 1.5 cent per shares with a $7
minimum. Plan B is opted for accounts that do
under 500 shares lot size per trade.
What is an ECN? Electronic
Communication Network. ECNs are direct access
routes to the stock market. Such as Island (INET
or ISB) and Archipelago (ARCA). Each ECN has a
different charge for routing the orders to them
directly.
Is there an inactivity
charge? No. There is no charge for keeping your
account with us provided the account is not on a
trading software. You can elect to use our trade
desk to place trades and not be on a trading
platform to avoid the cost being on trading
platform.
Do you need a trading software to trade with Alliance? Yes. We
provide 2 different trading platform
a web based system perfect for firewall
environment and DAS Trader platform provide
direct access routing technology to the AMEX, NYSE and Nasdaq, Level 2 real time quotes, intra day
charting, Stop loss and risk management.
How much does the
software's cost? The DAS trader is $125 or FREE
with 20 trades per trading month. The Web Trader is FREE with 1 trade or $5
per month.
